MISSION and VISION:

NeuroRecovery Solutions Inc. is a non-for-profit NYS organization (DOS ID#314002) that is dedicated to improved well-being, successful rehabilitation, optimal independence of people living with neurological disorders, as well as neuropsychoeducation and support for their families.

ABOUT US:

Neurorecovery Solutions, Inc. was founded by Dr. Inna Rozentsvit in 2005, to establish a place for personalized neurocare for individuals with various neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions, as well as their families and caretakers. Uniqueness of this approach is in centering all care around the patients and families rather than around the multispecialty centers of care. This way, the teams that are built around such patients and families cover all their needs, assisting them in often heart-breaking journey to well-being.

Inna Rozentsvit, M.D., PhD, MBA, MSciEd is a neurologist and neurorehabilitation specialist, trained in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy, with extensive experience in brain injury, autoimmune and other neurological, psychosomatic, as well as neuropsychiatric conditions. Dr. Rozentsvit (or one of her colleagues neurologists) first makes the evaluation – at the place of where the patient is (home, nursing or rehabilitation facility, hospital, etc.) or remotely; evaluates all the testing done; connects to the providers that are taking care of the patient, if needed; and creates a plan of care and recovery, short- and long-term.

Dr. Rozentsvit is also an educator who works with children and adults with learning and emotional disabilities, while applying knowledge from the fields of neurology, basic sciences, mental health, and pedagogy to solving puzzles of miscommunications and every-day interactions of these children and adults with their parents and significant others (visit https://celebratingneurodiversity365.com/, and read the Neuro-PsychoEducational posts on www.innarozentsvit.com). Neurorecovery Solutions, Inc. provides the same approach to dealing with neurodevelopmental conditions as we do with adult patients with neurological conditions: evaluation first; then building a team, which includes parents as the main team members; and then – creating a plan for transdisciplinary care, which includes educational classes, therapy sessions, parent education; and frequent follow-ups.
